Who We Are
The SouthWest Cyber Security Forum is a monthly meet up group for the discussion of cyber security and related issues. The group is run by and for security professionals from the Phoenix Metro area and greater Arizona.
We are always looking for presenters, with relevant, accurate, and lively discussions of security topics. Presentations range from approachable overviews of current and upcoming trends in security to technical deep dives suitable for seasoned professionals.
If you have specific presenters or topics you would like to see in the future, or if you would like to sponsor one of our meetings, please contact us.
We encourage all attendees to ask questions and share your experiences and expertise with the group so we can all improve our security skills. We do require all attendees to respect other's opinions, whether they agree or not, and keep the language and content appropriate for a business casual forum.
Most sessions are streamed, recorded and posted to the SWCSF YouTube Channel. However, some sessions, especially those with presenters from federal agencies, will not be made available on YouTube and may not be streamed in rare cases.
Food and drinks are provided for the in person meeting, however we can't yet post the pizza and drinks for download.
Meetings run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and generally follow the format:
- 6:00 - 6:30pm: Pre-Meeting Networking and Food
- 6:30 - 6:40pm: Meeting Start and Announcements
